It’s been over five years since U.S.-based fans have seen Bullet For My Valentine headline a tour. The last time the Welsh band was in this part of the globe was in 2018 when they supported their sixth studio album with the Feel the Pull of the Gravity Tour. This 2023, the long-awaited return, has the metalcore scene up by storm, and it’s all thanks to the newly plotted dates for all. In a press release, frontman Matt Tuck expressed his excitement, “After five long years, we’re finally heading back to the USA and Canada for a proper headline tour. We cannot wait to play and see you all again — it’s been far too long.” This time, Bullet For My Valentine will not only promote their latest self-titled album, which was released in 2021, and cover their career-spanning hits from earlier releases.
Fans can anticipate an incredible setlist mixed with new and older hits. Bullet For My Valentine has been known to perform songs as far back as their 2005 record, The Poison. This was evident during their recent gig in Cheltenham, England, where they delivered “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me).” Moreover, since the show will be on U.S. shores, fans can expect a hefty amount of tracks from the wildly popular albums Scream Aim, Fire, and Fever. Both efforts entered the top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart upon their releases in 2008 and 2010.
The same goes for their 2015 and 2018 studio albums, Venom and Gravity. Venom, which spawned “Raising Hell” and “You Want a Battle? (Here’s a War),” peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, Gravity featured on the Billboard chart performing the hit “Don’t Need You.”
Bullet for My Valentine’s 2023 fall tour brings along special guests Of Mice and Men and Vended. California-based rock band Of Mice and Men are set to drop a new studio effort this fall titled Tether, which has been preceded by critically-acclaimed new single, “Warpaint.” Vended, on the other hand, is a hot new band featuring the sons of Slipknot as its members. In 2021, they came out with their debut EP, featuring the single “Ded to Me.” Their music, defined as aggro-metal, doesn’t fall far from the Slipknot tree, but it also has its own identity.
