Veeze

LA and the Wiltern, in particular, have always been known as great hosts for hip-hop concerts. It’s even better when quite a few of the genre’s stars and up-and-comers take the stage on the same night. Veeze is headlining a show at the iconic LA venue on Friday, November 1st. This is going to be part of his “The Worst Tour Ever.” The name certainly does no justice to what’s going down at the Wiltern on the first Friday in November.

Karrahbooo’s gonna be gracing the stage a lot like Veeze; she’s got a ton of new material. She’s also one of the few ladies in the rap scene who’s not afraid to come up and freestyle a bit. That’s something that the crowd at the Wiltern usually appreciates.

Wizz Havinn will also be on stage this night. He has a very heavy old-school West Coast hip-hop vibe, which will remind many of the OGs who head to the Wiltern of some of the nights they were at the venue back in the 90s. That’s hard to find in the current rap landscape.

Everyone who's gonna be on stage’s got new material that they’ll be ready to showcase on November First. Star Bandz 'new track “My Baby’s' ' got some Caribbean vibes to it, with her signature vocals rappin about boys and cash. There’s something for everyone on this night, that’s for sure.

This show is likely going to sell out the Wiltern. There’s still some time, though, to click the get tickets button and pick your seats so you don’t miss it.

Detroit’s own Veeze has enjoyed quite a quick rise to prominence in hip-hop. He’s technically only released one full studio album, 2023’s Ganger. That album came more as his confirmation than a true debut! It was through a series of singles and mixtapes that he made his name. Ironically, a lot of these tracks revolved around his love of basketball. Veeze wanted to pursue a career as an NBA guard before turning his attention fully toward music. One of the singles that helped his rise to fame is likely a song that’s going to draw a few tears from the crowd at the Wiltern on November 1st. "4 Kobe" was one of his singles released last year. LA’s favorite son is still dearly missed in the city, and therefore, this track is pretty much a lock for this night.

The event as a whole is one that’s worth the price of admission. That’s not to say that Veeze’s headlining act wouldn’t be on its own. As an audience member, though, you’re getting a chance to catch four different artists, each with their own vibe and something to bring to the stage lyrics-wise. None of them are shy about improvising and interacting with the crowd. It could very much turn into one of the best hip-hop nights of the year, especially since even Veeze, the headliner, has something to prove. Being from Detroit doesn’t grant you an automatic standing ovation in LA. In all honesty, this show at the Wiltern seems to be very much a prove-it night for Veeze. The fans are all for it!

Seating at the Wiltern is going to be altered for this Friday night show! The entire first-floor seats are going to be removed to create a standing-room-only area right next to the stage. This setup will help the performers interact better with the fans and ensure that the show looks like a traditional hip-hop showdown. If you’re looking for an actual “place to sit,” those are going to be available on the second level. Now that you know this, you can proceed to click the get tickets button. The show starts at 8:00, so there’s some breathing room for those getting off work on Friday!
