The Wiltern
We Hope You’re Happy Now! American country artist Carly Pearce will be the Next Girl to play at The Wiltern on Friday, October 27th this year! The contemporary country-pop singer has recently announced additional dates for her brand new tour, “Country Music Made Me Do It,” which plays over twenty-seven shows across the nation. Presented by Conundrum Wines, the event will feature supporting acts on select dates by Nashville superstar Adam Doleac, and Hannah Ellis, best known for her top hit “Wine Country.” No stranger to the stage, Pearce began her musical career at the impressive age of eleven with a bluegrass band, and her talent only grew from there. Some of her greatest accomplishments include winning the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and being invited to the prestigious Grand Ole Opry by the legendary Dolly Parton. “If you've got a hankering for some sad-ass country music, happy days are here again.” - Variety
Carly Pearce will shine at the stage in The Wiltern on Friday, 27th October this year! Featuring supporting acts from Adam Doleac and Hannah Ellis, the twenty-seven-date tour will stop in multiple cities before concluding in the summer of next year.
Pearce is a critically-acclaimed American country singer-songwriter who began her career by working at Dollywood during her early years. From there, the musician was able to hone her voice and style to become the force that she is now by performing five times a week and in many concerts each day.
“Most people lay bare their hearts when they're performing intensely personal music. But Pearce is a victim of heartbreak now, so instead, she opened up and showed us the pillars - yes, "written in stone," perhaps - upon which her moral constitution and physical strength are now built,” The Tennessean shares.
Late in July, Pearce was officially announced as the special guest on Tim McGraw’s North American “Standing Room Only Tour.” Before heading out on the next leg of their joint tour, she discusses in an interview how excited she is about her most recent collaboration with Southern rock legend Chris Stapleton, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.”
When asked about her music inspiration, the artist shares "I think that every artist is different, but for me, I write from real-life experience. My heroes wrote from real life. They weren't afraid of their lives. I want to write music that maybe can be shocking at times.”
