Geordie Greep tickets

Former Black Midi frontman Geordie Greep is stepping into his own with his "The New Sound" album. This release marks his first truly solo endeavor. To promote his latest music, he's going on tour. One of the highlights of this road trip will be his stop at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. This show's gonna take place on Thursday, May 1st.

NNAMDÏ will be the man in charge of getting the crowd ready before Geordie Greep takes the stage on this US tour. He brings some soulful beats mixed with an almost squeaky chill voice. It's a good way to start getting in the groove of things. When he hits the audience with "Wasted," it's going to be a perfect moment to vibe and let go of the worries.

Most of the stops on this tour are selling out fast, and this show at The Wiltern promises to be no different. Click the get tickets button now to make sure you don't miss your chance to catch Geordie Greep live!

"The New Sound" may sound like the least creative name for an album. When you dive into the tracks, though, you get it! Trying to pin down Geordie Greep as a rock, pop, or whatever performer is just selling him short. He's been known to mix some jazz and some blues on the tracks with heavy guitar lines. That's evident in songs like "Holy, Holy," which is the most popular release from his latest album. Coming out to LA is a bit of a daring move for someone like Geordie Greep. Sure, he's built a name for himself as part of Black Midi, but it's not like they were the most popular band out there. Yet, he's generated quite a dedicated fan base in a short period of time. That's why he's got shows selling out!

Perhaps one of the reasons why he's been able to build this fan base is because he's got a mixture of different styles. He's able to mesh them without too much help from synthetic beats. This is not a knock on the massive crowd of artists that rely on autotune and electronic music beats. However, you have to admit that a lot of performers are taking this route. When you have someone with a more traditional approach, and who has something to say in his tracks, a lot of people are going to gravitate toward them. This is the phenomenon that we're seeing play out with Geordie Greep's first solo tour.

There's going to be a unique layout at the Wiltern Theater for this event. All of the seats in the lower sections of the venue are going to be removed to create a general admission area. If you want to be up close to the stage, you're going to want to arrive early to settle into your spot, even before the performers begin to take the stage. There will be room available on the upper levels as well if you want to be at the concert while avoiding the massive crowd. Click the get tickets button now to pick where you want to be on Thursday, May 1st.
