Ichiko shares that her new album is actually born from “Windswept Adan”. “It began when I started wondering what happened after the protagonist of Windswept Adan disappeared along with the music of the island’s inhabitants. What would be left?” she shared.

When she was 17, Ichiko started playing classical guitar — inspired by Disney and Studio Ghibli music. Well, that explains why her sonic tales feel like different worlds. It all makes sense!
