The Wiltern
They’re absolute stalwarts of post-hardcore music, trailblazers in the genre that would define an entire generation, creators of the music that became the soundtrack to countless lives, juggernauts of brilliance that are met with screams of approval at every single live concert.
They are emo elites, and they came, they made music, and they conquered.
They are 25 years into the music business, with absolutely no sign of slowing down. Now, in what promises to be an unforgettable experience from that 10-minutes-before-the-show excitement right up to that post-show buzz, North America is in for a special treat: a 25-year anniversary tour that is slated to roll into all the major venues!
The Used will be spending three nights at each venue, playing one of their three iconic groundbreaking albums each night: 2002’s eponymous debut album featuring the singles ‘The Taste Of Ink’, ‘Buried Myself Alive’, and ‘Blue And Yellow’, all reaching platinum status; the subsequent 2004 platinum album ‘In Love and Death’ that spawned singles such as ‘All That I’ve Got’, ‘Take It Away’, and ‘I Caught Fire’; and 2007’s charting album, ‘Lies for the Liars’, featuring singles such as ‘The Bird And The Worm’ and ‘Pretty Handsome Awkward’.
Whether you’re a slightly aged emo kid, an old-school scene teen, a newbie, or just a lover of good music, this is the concert trilogy you can’t miss!
It’s a rollercoaster of riff perfection, guttural screaming beautifully balanced with great melodies and harmonies, cutting lyrics and incredible rhythms, that will have you leave the concert with your emo heart satisfied and full!
The Wiltern is one of the hottest venues around when it comes to top-tier live entertainment – unforgettable experiences and The Wiltern are practically synonymous. The venue boasts up to 4,000 seats across the general admission pit and floor, loge and mezzanine. All the necessary spaces, such as concession and merchandise stands and restrooms are easily accessible, and with the state-of-the-art sound- and lighting equipment, every seat in the house is a great seat!
