The alt-rock legends The Wrecks have recently announced a hot new trek that includes a stop at LA’s finest venue! The quartet - made up of Nick Anderson, Nick "Schmizz" Schmidt, Aaron Kelley, and Billy Nally - is hitting the road and taking the Inside Outside Tour to The Wiltern on Saturday 31st May 2025. While once dubbed "indie rock's best-kept secret," The Wrecks have now sold tens of thousands of tickets, packed out major venues, and independently stacked up almost 300 million total streams across huge hits like “Favorite Liar,” “Fvck Somebody,” and “Freaking Out.” These legends have also stunned audiences with two full length offerings, Infinitely Ordinary [2020] and Sonder [2022], as well as their brand new single “Always, Everytime.” The Inside Outside Tour arrives on the heels of this latest release, as well as an exciting new signing with Lava/Republic Records. Just in case you didn’t already know, The Wrecks are an awesome pop rock band based in LA. The quartet is currently made up of Nick Anderson, Nick "Schmizz" Schmidt, Aaron Kelley, and Billy Nally. These guys broke out in 2016 when they dropped their first single, "Favorite Liar," which was an instant success! But, it wasn’t until their debut album, Infinitely Ordinary, landed in 2020 that they disrupted the scene with killer tracks like "Fvck Somebody." Over the years, The Wrecks have sold tens of thousands of tickets, packed out major venues, and independently stacked up almost 300 million total streams across hits like “Freaking Out.”
While they don’t box themselves into one genre, The Wrecks has cited influences like Pixies, the Strokes, Weezer, Vampire Weekend, The Killers and Cage the Elephant. Over the years, their music has been described as "energetic" and "eccentric," so you can expect a quirky and high energy performance!! In 2018, Ones to Watch referred to the band as "indie rock's best-kept secret." Definitely not a secret now, The Wrecks have toured with industry heavyweights like All Time Low, SWMRS, Waterparks, The Hunna, and the Struts, as well as opened for the legendary Nothing But Thieves, Paramore and Dashboard Confessional. The four piece kickstarted their first headlining tour, the Robot Army Tour, in November 2017, and it was a blast! Their second tour, the Panic Vertigo Tour arrived the following year, and was equally as awesome! In June 2022, the group embarked on their headlining Better Than Ever Tour, featuring special guest Spencer Fort (Mothé), and Girlhouse. The Wrecks have such an iconic stage presence, that they’ve scored gigs at the Bunbury Music Festival, BottleRock Napa Valley, and Lollapalooza.
