Kicking off the tour this February, fans across North America are in for the best show this spring has to offer. With Los Angeles part of the run, they’re all set to take over the stage at The Wiltern on the 16th. Nestled in the heart of the city, it’s an intimate yet energy-inducing venue that major names in music have frequented. As one of the world’s newest and most unique K-idol groups out there, they’re legends in their own game. With comfortable seating, high-quality audio, and modern facilities, it’s the perfect place to host these talented ladies. Right around the corner are many restos and pubs for the perfect night out.
Determined to take on the challenge of growth and success as a one-of-a-kind girl group today, “We’re trying to break the perception of what we can do as girls,” tripleS told NME. Introduced with eight different sub-units, it’s an ambitious project that challenges the norms of the industry. Disrupting the scene, they proved successful in gaining an audience that actively engages with the infinite possibilities attached to their artistry. Their first album as a 24-member group, “ASSEMBLE24”, took the world by surprise with their energy-packed lead single “Girls Never Die”. “Gonna go all the way, not gonna give up this time,” the group triumphantly sings.
A concept very new to fans around the world, “I mean yes, we are a girl group, but we will not be distilled by the traditional view of what a girl group has to be,” SoHyun told NME. Proudly sharing how they have many sides to their artistry, they’re breaking boundaries and proving that they can do more as girls. With fans on the wheel, being able to choose idol combinations and which songs become singles, and so on, it’s definitely a high level of engagement. The pressure is on, and they’re out here giving their best. “They are looking forward to our potential and what we can achieve,” SoHyun shared, explaining how fans vote based on how they communicate and engage with them.
