Coming from Seoul in South Korea, Wave to Earth is a totally unique indie pop trio consisting of the incredibly skilled singer-songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Dong Kyu Shin, and bassist John Cha. This all-star trio has cooked up their own brand of indie pop with lo-fi tones that is based on jazz drumming. A master of all trades, the three piece records, mixes, and masters all of their music, as well as lend their unmatched talents to album art, video, and fashion. Wave to Earth entered the circuit in 2019 with their iconic debut single “wave.” They built up the momentum with their EPs, including 'wave 0.01' and 'summer flows 0.02'. And after joining forces with Wavy Seoul label, they released smash hits “nouvelle vague” and “calla.” In 2023, Wave to Earth dropped their highly anticipated first full-length record, 0.1 flaws and all. This awesome album boasts a collection of 14 electric songs, taking listeners through their dream world. One huge track, “bad,” was such a global hit that it climbed to the coveted #1 place on Spotify's Viral 50 - Global.
In the same year, Daniel Kim, Dong Kyu Shin, and John Cha hit the road and it was unforgettable! Starting in August 2023, Wave to Earth’s first North American trek was so popular that it sold more than a whopping 20,000 tickets, performing 20 amazing live live across the continent. And now, the trio is back to make more history! Wave to Earth recently announced the North American run of 2024’s 0.03 world tour, and it’s the talk of the town (or world!!)!
