Everyone here at The WIltern is excited to welcome Young Nudy and BabyDrill to the stage for their show on Wednesday, June 11th as they embark on Nudy’s headlining Come To My World Tour. This highly anticipated tour will see Nudy hit eighteen stops across America - including his hometown of Atlanta, Detroit, the House of Blues in Houston, and of course - right here at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Even though Young Nudy just just got into his groove and started getting international shows recently, he’s been in the game for the last decade, and he shared blood with rap royalty - contemporary rapper and Atlanta legend 21 Savage is Nudy’s cousin, and is also related to producer Pi’erre Bourne. Nudy released his debut studio album Anyways in 2020, and he’s been unstoppable since. The rapper has charted on the Billboard 100, had coveted leaks that fans on Soundcloud beg him to drop, He is the face of a new generation of East Atlanta Hip Hop, and it’s only a matter of time before he has that generational album that propels him into super stardom. This tour only further cements Nudy’s appeal and long term star power - and we’re so excited to welcome him to the stage this June for what is sure to be one of his best sets on the road.
In a recent interview with Complex, Nudy talked about how he achieves his signature sound and how he stays consistent through all the madness. In the interview, he said “I don't know. I like certain type of sounds and sh*t. I'm big on noises and sh*t like that. I might f*ck around and hear a little stupid ass noise in this motherf*cker. So ain't no telling what it is. I might like it though. I'm just attracted to sounds and stuff like that. I don't know—one of my little fetishes, type sh*t. I love sounds and sh*t,”.
